From mutual funds, insurance and annuities, to other financial products,
there are often hidden fees that pay “advisors” for selling them. Not at BCAP. Our
clients know and understand that our approach is based on sound strategies
and a solid base of knowledge. Our advice is free from conflicts-of-interest because it is never tied to the sale or recommendation of a financial product.

At BCAP our six-tiered approach to wealth management provides the feedback
and control you’re looking for in preserving and building your wealth.
1. We Listen
We want to know your goals, whether they belong in the category of
retirement, estate, philanthropic, or specialized trust services. Our initial meetings
are based on listening to you. Then, we design an approach based on your unique
needs and objectives and get to work defining your long-term expectations.
2. Define Your Expectations
We consider your needs, goals and objectives and, after careful planning and
assessment, incorporate them into a document we call the Investment Policy
Statement,(IPS). Your IPS becomes the foundation for meeting your goals, while
providing a formalized accountability structure that helps you see the results.
3. Formulate an Action Plan
Your action plan is a customized written document that formulates your asset
allocation. Studies show that
asset allocation determines over 90% of the risk/return characteristics of an
investment plan, making your personal action plan one of the most important
facets of your wealth management portfolio.
4. Implement Your Action Plan
Once your action plan is established and you have signed off on it, BCAP
begins the implementation process.
This involves setting up your accounts in our performance monitoring system,
coding your accounts for monitoring relative to your appropriate asset
allocation benchmarks and targets, and applying tax efficient strategies, where
applicable.
5. Provide Consistent Performance Reviews
In addition to the stellar technological performance of our monitoring
systems, our due diligence process is one of the best in the industry. At BCAP,
professional and institutional investment management is gauged against stringent
performance, risk and style metrics. The human factor can also have a
significant impact on your performance; where applicable, we monitor for changes in key
personnel and organization structure as part of the process.
6. Personal Contact
Our relationships with clients are founded on trust, integrity and regular
personal contact. We schedule regular meetings to review the progress of your
plan, and to help keep you informed
and educated, while listening to your input and incorporating feedback where
we can.
